Janette is an accredited counsellor and psychodynamic therapist, trained in family therapy, child development counselling and art therapy.
She is a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association, bringing to her practice compassion for those struggling with loss, grief associated with relationship breakdown and struggles concerning employment. Janette also has an understanding of challenges faced by families involved with the Australian Defence Force. Therapies are tailored to suit the individual, selecting from a variety of therapies including CBT, ACT, Solution Focused Therapy, EFT, Narrative Therapy and Art Therapy. Offering individual attention to her clients, Janette assists them to explore healthy ways of moving forward.
With an interest in strengthening community, Janette plays an active role in national suicide prevention through her work with Lifeline. "I understand how difficult it is to naturally grow and blossom without caring support, and I wish to reduce the impact of this in the community. "
While choosing to work in the mid north coast area of NSW, Janette maintains her interest in cutting edge psychology though local and interstate involvement in active personal development. "I believe that life is a continuing journey, offering opportunities for growth at every age and stage.
